The Mumbai Port Trust acquired ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management certificate on 10th October 2002 certified by the renowned international certification agency ’the Det Norske Veritas’
With this glorious achievement Mumbai Port Trust has committed to provide quality services in the field of integrated sea port facilities for cargo handling, storage and delivery of cargo/containers and related services.
Mumbai Port has become the first major Indian Port to have acquired Quality Certification of 2000 series, which envisages continual improvement of processes and standards towards customer satisfaction. This is another landmark of the Mumbai Port Trust’s endeavor to ensure quality service to the customers.
ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System has been updated to ISO 9001:2008 QMS by the same certifying agency on 23/11/2009. ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System has been recertified by the same certifying agency which is valid upto 9th October 2014.
